Green Group Holdings Announces Mike Moran as Corporate Safety Director
CANTON, Georgia – October 9, 2014 – Green Group Holdings, LLC announced it has chosen Mike Moran as corporate safety director. In this newly created role, Moran will be responsible for ensuring GGH implements and adheres to a corporate wide safety program as well as site specific safety programs at all of its facilities. Moran will also be the ISN Manager.
Moran has been involved with safety and health operations for 25 years, with experience in the proteins industry, waste to energy, and emergency service as a firefighter.

Moran joins GGH from JBSSA, where he acted as a consultant to the management team and employees on various safety, training, health and ergonomics issues, while also ensuring plants were in compliance with all government and corporate safety standards.
Prior to that, Moran served as regional safety manager at Covanta Energy, where he was responsible for maintaining health and safety regulatory compliance and program performance at five operating facilities and one regional office.
Moran also spent 22 years in emergency services as a firefighter for the county of Spotsylvania, VA, achieving the rank of Assistant Fire Chief, Instructor, training recruits in fire safety and structural firefighting.
